How to join the 5 a.m. club, clear the fog and elevate your life
You might of heard of CEO:s waking up early to be ahead of the rest. But it’s not just waking up early; you have to know how to take advantage of time. A while back, I read Robin Sharma’s book “The 5 a.m. club”, and recently I went back to it — and it changed my morning routines entirely.
Let’s look at the critical points from the book and see if you can try to recreate the bullet points, and take back control of your mornings. But why should you wake up early?
Multiple successful people rise early in the morning because it puts them at an advantage in their daily life. Highly effective people (according to Stephen R. Covey) tend to want to wake up early. They are getting things done first thing in the morning, e.g. working out, meditating and so on, shifts their mindset towards goal orientation. This increased sense of accomplishing their goals from the first minute lets them take charge of the outcome of the day.
